The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, sitting as the Redistricting Commission, will hold the first of three public hearings to receive input from the public regarding changing the boundary lines of Commissioner Districts in Weld County, Colorado, as proposed by the Weld County Redistricting Advisory Committee pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes §§ 30-10-306 et. seq. No decision will be made at the hearing, but the Commission may direct staff to make modifications to the existing drafts for consideration. Both in-person public comment and electronic public comment via Microsoft Teams will be accepted. Copies of the proposed maps and all associated documentation, as well as links to submit written comments or register to comment at the hearing, may be found at https://www.weld.gov/Government/Departments/Public-Information-Office/Redistricting. All documentation as well as assistance in registering to comment is also available in the office of the Clerk to the Board, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, who can be contacted at (970) 400-4225 or egesick@weld.gov.
