Pursuant to the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Ordinance Number 2025-14 was introduced on first reading on September 29, 2025, and a public hearing and second reading was held on October 15, 2025, with changes being made as listed below. A public hearing and third reading is scheduled to be held in the Chambers of the Board, located within the Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, on November 3, 2025. All persons in any manner interested in the reading of said Ordinance are requested to attend and may be heard.

Changes Made to Code Ordinance 2025-14 on Second Reading
Amend Sec. 14-5-40. Minimum requirements for Body Artists, to read as follows:
A. and B. – No change.
C. The body artist must maintain hair, skin, and clothes that are free of visible particulate matter. The body artist must keep fingernails trimmed, filed and maintained to allow thorough cleaning and prevent glove tears.
D. through F. – No change.
G. Eating or drinking by anyone is prohibited in the area where body art preparations or procedures are performed and any location where instruments or supplies are stored or cleaned, with the exception of a non-alcoholic drink in a sealable container. Exceptions must be made for the purpose of rendering first aid.
