Report Abuse or Neglect

The Screening Department is responsible for taking reports of alleged child abuse and neglect, as well as allegations of at-risk adult abuse and neglect.

Report Welfare Fraud

It is a crime to lie on an application and/or other paperwork submitted for public assistance. Information that is false, incomplete, or is intentionally left off an application in order to qualify for benefits (or continue to receive benefits) that the household may not eligible for--is considered fraud.

Weld Food Bank

Weld Food Bank collects, stores, and processes food to distribute it to low-income people.

Greeley-Weld Housing Authority provides low income residents with housing assistance through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8.

WIC is a USDA funded health and nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children under the age of 5 years. Weld County WIC staff consists of Registered Dietitians, Nutrition Educators, and Breast Feeding Peer Counselors who together seek to provide credible nutrition education & assessment, breastfeeding support, referrals , resources, and healthful foods for our clients. Child care providers are required to complete the online Mandated Reporter Training through the Colorado Department of Human Services.
