Know Your Rights

Everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. It’s important to know your rights and how to access the services you need without discrimination. Whether it's about equal opportunities, nondiscrimination, or understanding how to request an appeal, we are here to help guide you through the process.

Your Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity You have the right to receive services and opportunities without being treated unfairly. We make sure that all individuals, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, or other protected status, are treated equally and fairly.

Nursing Home and Assisted Living Residents' Rights Even when people move into a nursing home or assisted living facility, they still have their basic human and civil rights, known as Residents' Rights. People in these facilities can be more vulnerable and need support and protection. Services provided by the Long-Term Care Ombudsman.

Nondiscrimination and Accessibility We want everyone to have access to services and programs. We ensure that everyone can access our services and facilities. No one should face barriers based on their identity or needs.

Confidentiality and Privacy Your privacy matters to us. We protect your personal information and keep it confidential during the claim or appeal process.

We’re here to make sure you receive fair treatment and the services you deserve. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.
