Leave Time

At Weld County, we work hard and play harder on our days off. And in order for you to feel your best, most-productive self when you're at work, we encourage you to take some time away from the office to refresh, recharge and unplug. That's why we offer our employees several paid leave time options. Travel to far off places or enjoy time with family in your own backyard via a staycation by taking advantage of vacation days. Feeling under the weather? That's what sick days are for. And, to top it all off, county offices are closed during 12 paid holidays out of the year, allowing employees to celebrate and observe each with loved ones.

Employees can also use 16 hours of unused sick leave (as long as you have 40 hours accrued) as personal leave time annually.
