Weld County Administration Building (1150 O Street, Greeley)

 1. Call to Order: Nicholas Wharton, Chair, called the meeting to order at 3:00 pm. Other Advisory Committee members present were Dean Moyer, Jodi Hartmann, AJ Euckert, Janet Meisel-Burns and Linda Hart. A quorum was present.

2. Chair Wharton asked for review of the February 5, 2025 minutes and if there are any amendments. Seeing none, Committee Member Hartmann made a motion to approve the minutes as presented and was seconded by Committee Member Moyer. The motion passed unanimously.

3. Ms. Martin provided an update on the current grant projects and presented the Committee with a spreadsheet for tracking progress on the current grant projects.

4. 2026 Application presentations. The Advisory Committee heard presentations from the communities on their application requests.

  •  Firestone Housing Rehabilitation Program III – Ivy Pitts presented
  •  Nunn Senior Center & Gym ADA Accessibility Project – Tashia Archer & Kyle Rakoczy
  •  Eaton Collins St. Crosswalk Improvements – Greg Brinck presented • Ault Senior Center Building Improvements – Kristin Ceriani presented
  •  WHALE Respite Center Expansion 2026-2027 – Kristin Ceriani presented
  •  Lochbuie Lockwood Park ADA Accessibility – Kevin Ash & Rusty Ribble presented

Advisory Committee Chair, Nicholas Wharton, informed presenters that the Advisory Committee will formulate recommendations for 2026 grant awards to the Weld County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) at their next regularly scheduled meeting on Apri 1, 2026. Cynthia Martin, CDBG staff, will email official notification of awards once the BOCC has met and approved award of 2026 CDBG program grant funds.

5. No other business

The CDBG Advisory Committee meeting adjourned at 4:20 pm. Next meeting April 1, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the Finance Conference Room, 1150 O Street
