  1. Chairman: Call meeting to order

2.  Introductions: Recent addition to the group, Matt Wagy, replacing Ken Haring.

3.  Current Committee Vacancies:

  • Nicholas Anastasi (Small independent General Contractor) disbanded his business and took a product sales rep job working in Denver.
  • Taylor Kiser-separated from Dynamic Homes (Homebuilder) due to a slowdown in building related to high mortgage rates and the cost and unavailability of water taps.
  • Izic Urbina-(Concrete Contractor) has moved out of Weld County.

4.  Recommendations to fill Committee Vacancies:

  • Homebuilders
  • Small independent General Contractors
  • Concrete Contractors

5.  Old Business:

  • 2023 National Electrical Code adopted July 2024
  • 2018 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) adopted July 2024
  • 2021 International Energy Conservation Code adoption deferred to undetermined future date.
  • Express Permits

7.  New Business:

  • Express Permits
  • County Code regarding ADUs. ADU Permits

8.  Discussion Topics:

  • 2018 ICC Building guides
  • Briefing from the Contractor Advisory Meeting held on Thursday, 10/17/24.
  • Comprehensive review of County Code Ch. 29-Building Regulations
  • Greeley Building Department update
  • Contractor licensing
  • Frequency of meeting:
  • Keep it semi-annually
  • Meet quarterly
