Support Colorado’s Dairy Youth

Weld County Extension and the Weld County Dairy Advisory Council will be hosting the 23rd annual Colorado Dairy Youth Extravaganza, May 29th - June 1st at Island Grove Park in Greeley.  This event is open to all youth having dairy projects throughout Colorado and in neighboring states.  In 2024, 80 youth from five states exhibited 133 head of dairy cattle. In our first 21 years, 451 different youth have participated in Extravaganza!

Our purpose is to provide educational opportunities to help youth with their dairy projects, and to make it fun! Youth participate in showmanship, fitting and judging clinics, along with a Quiz Bowl, Dairy Olympics, Costume Contest, and more!
