The Checkerboard website is a single point-of-entry website providing free "one-click" public access for all forms, statues, rules, instructions, flowcharts, and videos for over 50 different types of Colorado civil cases. In some areas of the Checkerboard, electronic filing is available. The Checkerboard also provides videos, flowcharts, and instructions to help users understand their civil case. Free legal self-help clinics are offered by Carbon Valley Regional Library, Erie Community Library, and Library Innovation Center in Weld County. To find free ask-an-attorney clinics, click on "Getting More Help (Clinics and Self-Help Programs)" located at the bottom right corner of the Checkerboard. Then click on "2024 Virtual Pro Se Clinics (VPC)" located at the top left corner of the board.
