Our Services

The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment provides the following services, free of charge:

  • Environmental inspection for children with an elevated blood lead level (of 3.5 µg/dL or higher).
  • Blood lead screening by appointment or at outreach events.
  • Medical provider consultation on blood lead reporting requirements and follow-up actions.
  • Education and outreach on lead poisoning prevention and response.
