Estes Park Lake"Thanks to the diabetes prevention classes, I learned to make small changes to my diet that made a big difference. Before the classes, my legs hurt, I couldn't walk, and my A1C was high. The hardest thing for me was getting used to the idea of being physically active because I was very sedentary and drank a lot of sugary drinks. The first positive change I noticed was that I felt better emotionally and physically. I could now walk in Estes Park without getting tired, and I can talk while I walk. I also now think before I eat sweets and I am more aware of the amount of food I put on my plate. I really appreciate your help in this journey."

Lady walking with Water"I finally broke the plateau I was experiencing and so now it is easier to stay on track. I also have not given in to temptation and I was really inspired by Sam Adams and what he had to say. More protein and balancing it with carbs. 500 calorie deficits. Exercise and a lot of water. My blood pressure is finally down and maybe soon I can discontinue some of the blood pressure meds that I am on."
