Intent to Apply 2026

We are so excited to begin our 2026 Weld Regional Opioid Council grant cycle!

If you or your organization plans to apply for Weld Regional Opioid Council funding for the 2026 grant cycle, please answer the questions located in the blue tab below. You may send the questions to HE-WROC@weld.gov and copy kmccandless@weld.gov

Please note that this is not the formal application and a response to the upcoming request for proposals will also be required in order to be considered.

Please submit your intent to apply by June 15, 2025. The intent to apply is not a requirement for RFP application, but helps us prepare for the upcoming RFP process. 

Questions to Answer and Submit via Email

If you or your organization plans to apply for Weld Regional Opioid Council funding for the 2026 grant cycle, please answer the following questions.  You may send the questions to HE-WROC@weld.gov and copy kmccandless@weld.gov.

  • What is the name of your organization?
  • Who is the contact for your organization?
  • What is their email address?
  • Approximately how much funding do you anticipate requesting?
  • Which of the following approved categories will your proposal fall under?
    • Prevention
    • Treatment
    • Harm reduction
    • Recovery
    • Other strategies*
  • Would your organization be interested in giving a brief presentation or explanation (virtual or in-person) or your project to the Weld Regional Opioid Council at our July 15th meeting?

*All applications must be compliant with Exhibit E, which includes a specific list of approved strategies that fall outside of the other categories. Please feel free to reach out to kmccandless@weld.gov if you have any questions. We appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions.
