Weld County — The 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread worldwide, including to Colorado. Currently there are fewer than 12 confirmed cases in Colorado. Weld County does not have any confirmed cases; however, this may change as testing for COVID-19 becomes more widely available. The Health Department is closely monitoring COVID-19 with a team of communication specialists, preparedness staff, and epidemiologists — public health practitioners who are experts in tracking the occurrence, spread, and control of diseases.
“Our first priority is to protect the health of Weld County residents,” said Mark E.
