The Community Outreach team is here to help Weld County individuals and families understand and apply for public assistance programs. Our Outreach Coordinators explain the rules, help with applications, and connect you to other helpful community resources. We also help people request emergency support services, including limited financial assistance for individuals and families in crisis. Multiple sites available in the community.

United Way 2-1-1
United Way 2-1-1 the fastest and easiest way to get information when you need it. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. One call gives you access to resources across your community, whether you need to get help – for you, for a family member or for a friend – or want to help. The 2-1-1 database allows you to browse thousands of health and human services online.

The Weld Food Bank collects, stores, and processes food to distribute it to low-income people.

The Greeley-Weld Housing Authority provides low income residents with housing assistance through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8.

WIC is a USDA funded health and nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children under the age of 5 years. Weld County WIC staff consists of Registered Dietitians, Nutrition Educators, and Breast Feeding Peer Counselors who together seek to provide credible nutrition education & assessment, breastfeeding support, referrals , resources, and healthful foods for our clients. - Making homes more energy-efficient – They can add insulation, better lighting, and appliances to help lower your energy costs.
- Community solar programs – You can get cheaper electricity by joining a shared solar program.
- Help for renters and homeowners – Their programs are for anyone who needs help, whether you rent or own your home.

Child care providers are required to complete the online Mandated Reporter Training through the Colorado Department of Human Services.
