Unlock Your Interviewing Success! – Tuesdays 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (In-person only)
Prove how you meet the employer's needs! Research employers, prepare to answer interview questions about your behavior, ask employers questions, and follow up after interviews. All participants of this workshop have an additional opportunity to do a mock interview to practice and build your job interviewing skills!
Resume Writing for Success, Part 1: Workshop – Tuesdays 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM (In-person only)

Create a job-winning resume by targeting your resume for employers. Learn how you can prove you can do the job and STAND OUT! Learn about Applicant Tracking Systems and how to show hiring managers that you have what they want in under 10 seconds. Learn about which format of resume will work best for you, and then target it.
Resume-Writing Lab, Part 2 – Wednesdays 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM -OR- 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (In-person only)
After completing the Resume Writing Workshop, apply what you learned about targeting resumes to create an up-to-date resume on a computer with instructor guidance.
Prerequisite: Resume Writing for Success, Part One Workshop.
HOPE: Helping Offenders Pursue Employment – Thursdays 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Alternately in-person and virtual)
The job search requires essential job-search tools, such as targeted resumes and interview skills. Job seekers with a troubled past need additional tools, such as a transformation story and explaining your background. Come get your job-search tools now! Building Self Confidence for Job-Search Success – 3rd Thursday of each month 1:00 to 3:00 PM (Virtual only)
Seeking new employment can sometimes be intimidating, so we have some tools to help! Enhance your self-confidence and learn how to use the skills, knowledge, and accomplishments you already have to promote yourself while searching for employment. 50+—You’re Hired! Three-Week Series – Fridays 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Virtual Only)
Networking and great information help land you jobs! Receive encouragement and learn new strategies for job searching. This workshop series meets once a week for three weeks. Must have valid email address to receive Microsoft Team link.
Week 1: Mindset is the key to your job search. Create your Elevator Pitch and sell yourself by showing how your skills and accomplishments match the job description.
Week 2: Come learn valuable secrets to turn your resume and cover letters into interviews! Prove that you can do the job and STAND OUT from other qualified job seekers.
Week 3: Succeeding at job interviews now requires great examples to answer behavioral questions. Come learn about STAR answers and prepare for your next interview!
Getting Started with Computers – 2nd Friday of each month 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (In-person only)
Learners are introduced to the parts of a computer and basic computer functions, including mouse, keyboard, and navigating to the internet to complete a basic search. This class is designed for beginners or folks who would like a refresher on computer basics. No computer experience is required. Laptops are provided.
Using the Internet in Your Job Search – 3rd Friday of each month 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (In-person only)
Participants will learn how to use the Internet for finding job listings, connecting to contacts, researching companies, applying for jobs online, or emailing cover letters and resumes. Laptops are provided.
