Weld County's Waiting Kids

Welcome and thank you for caring about children and youth in foster care in Weld County! The following children are currently waiting for a foster-adoptive family or a foster family who is in the position to adopt should the case move in that direction. Weld Kids Waiting:

 Janie is 14 years old. Janie is a creative soul. She loves arts and crafts, music, and dancing. She also enjoys nature and walking outside as well as community events and activities. Janie can be very engaging and fun to be around. She would do best with a family that exhibits patience, encouragement, reassurance, and a sense of humor. Support will be provided for transitioning to a new home.

 Aaron is an inquisitive boy who enjoys talking about space, science, geography, and history. He’s a Denver Broncos football fan who also loves exploring, adventuring, reading, writing, and playing video games, especially Minecraft. Aaron would do well with a nurturing and patient family, and he would like to grow up with his sister, age 11, and his brother, age 8.

 James is everyone’s best friend! A wiz with math, he enjoys numbers and problem-solving. James has also become interested in learning Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese, and Greek. James is in school full days and does well. He is autistic and needs consistent supervision. James has limited language skills, but he really lights up around people that he knows and trusts. Supports will be provided for transitioning to a new home.
