The Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) has regulatory oversight of the oil and gas operations when the evacuation order around the Bishop Well site is lifted. ECMC is the agency with statutory authority to regulate oil and gas operations, including the investigation and cleanup of any oil and gas spill.
