Hazard Mitigation Plan update
As part of an update to its multijurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, Weld County and municipalities are asking for public feedback on through a quick, online survey. Questions in the survey will gauge how prepared residents feel to deal with a severe weather emergency as well as how prepared they feel their community is to respond should one occur.
As the goal of the Hazard Mitigation Plan is to make communities and the county more resilient, public feedback through the survey can help community leaders understand residents’ concerns as well as what future infrastructure improvements have community support.
Fill out the survey and learn more about this update on the “Hazard Mitigation” page at www.weldoem.com.
