Commissioner Lynette “Kilpatrick” Peppler - Her roots run deep in Weld County, where she grew up on her family’s dairy farm—a place that instilled in her the value of hard work and the importance of preserving the land that sustains us.
Lynette had a focus at home where she embraced the challenging yet rewarding task of homeschooling her children for 21 years, embedding the fabric of their education with the threads of Biblical values, civic understanding, and a deep appreciation for American history. These years weren’t just about academic learning; they were about nurturing a sense of responsibility, integrity, and conservative ideals.
Now, with her children grown, her focus continues to be on the community of Weld County. She’s a natural teacher and a steadfast advocate, pouring her energy into supporting adults with disabilities and maintaining the traditional values that form the backbone of the county. She continues to live outside of LaSalle taking care of her 99-year-old mother to ensure that her family farm continues to be a testament to resilience and a nurturing presence in the lives of future generations.
Lynette ran on the platform of preserving agricultural land, fiscal responsibility and support for small businesses and law enforcement. She is proud to represent the residents in District 3.
