Notice is hereby given that a Proposed Budget has been submitted to the board of Weld County Commissioners for the ensuing year of 2027. A copy of the proposed budget and illustrative budget book is available for public inspection online at the website: www.weld.gov/government/departments/finance-and-administration/budget. A printed copy can be made available for the cost of printing.
The details of the proposed budget will be considered at Work Sessions to be held the following dates in the Pawnee Conference Room at the Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631. Dates of Work Sessions and final budget decisions:
Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Monday, October 19, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, November 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
A summary of changes between the proposed and final budgets will be reviewed at a Work Session on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
All interested citizens, groups and organizations representing the interests of citizens are encouraged to attend and to submit written and oral comment from the public concerning the proposed budget for fiscal year 2027 to ctb@weld.gov or during the public hearings.
The Board of Weld County Commissioners will hold public hearings each of the following dates in its Hearing Room, Weld County Administration Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for a three-reading process on Monday, November 9, Monday, November 23, and Wednesday, December 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., for adoption of the final budget. Members of the public may inspect the proposed budget and illustrative budget book and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to adoption of the final budget.
