March 6 Proclaimed UH Bulldogs Day!

The Board of County Commissioners was proud to recognized the University High School Pom team today for their 3A State Championship victory late last year. Team work is vital to success, and these ladies did a great job representing Weld County!
UNIVERSITY BULLDOGS DAY MONDAY, MARCH 6, 2016
WHEREAS, the University Pom Team attended the CHSAA 3A Poms State Championship at the Denver Coliseum on December 10, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the University Pom Team was one of two teams chosen to move to finals, and competed against Bayfield High School and
WHEREAS, the University Pom Team won the 3A State Title against Bayfield by three points, and
WHEREAS, the University Pom team attended two separate competitions, the Patriot League competition in Strasburg, and a UDA summer camp to prepare for this state competition, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is proud of the accomplishment of the University Bulldogs Pom team and congratulates the team for being 3A state champions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that in recognition of the University Bulldogs Pom Team, that Monday, March 6, 2017, be known as University Bulldogs Day.
