Clerk and Recorder's Office Has New Address

A three-stage move of the Weld County Clerk and Recorders Office, which began at the beginning of February, will bring much needed benefits to the public and staff alike.
“For the first time since 2006, all three divisions of the Clerk and Recorder’s Office will be under one roof,” said Weld County Clerk and Recorder Carly Koppes. The building, which was remodeled last year, is larger and offers more parking for the public than was available at the previous two locations the offices occupied.
“The new Motor Vehicle area alone will be able to seat 100 clients so there will be no more need to wait outside to conduct business with us.” Koppes stated.
The new office, located at 1250 H St., is just a half-mile southeast of its previous location.
“We know it will take awhile for people to get familiar with our new location,” Koppes said. An Open House, scheduled for March 4th from 4:30-6 pm, will hopefully help familiarize residents with new spot.
“We invite residents to come down during our open house and see the space, ask questions, and learn about the benefits the new location will provide,” said Koppes.
