Weld County adds Instagram to communication platforms

While Weld County residents turned their clocks back this past weekend, Weld County Government moved forward in its efforts to connect with the community.

Weld County Government is excited to announce the launch of its official Instagram account, following strategic planning and approval from the Weld County Board of Commissioners. This new platform will provide an additional avenue for communication with residents, offering behind-the-scenes glimpses of county operations, staff highlights and announcements.

Weld County is already active on Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube. Facebook remains the county’s most viewed channel sharing news releases, events, announcements and highlights. While Facebook and X will continue to be the primary platforms for county government communications, Instagram will provide relevant information in a fresh tone, with the aim of widening the county’s audience.

"By launching our Instagram account, we’re excited to create a space where we can engage with our community in a more visual and engaging way,” said Commissioner Chair Kevin Ross. “This platform will help us reach different demographics within Weld County and keep them informed about county government."
