The Weld County Commissioners are accepting applications from individuals interested in participating on the Poudre River Trail Corridor Board as a Weld County representative. The board, which governs the Poudre River Trail Corridor, is comprised of Greeley, Windsor, and Weld County representatives.
The Poudre River Trail Corridor is a stand-alone nonprofit organization that operates under an intergovernmental agreement in collaboration with professional staff from the City of Greeley, Weld County, and the Town of Windsor. Together, they form a community partnership to maintain and improve the trail. The organization and board have also spent numerous hours coordinating construction projects, land acquisitions, fundraising efforts, and community education programs about the trail. Time requirement on the board is approximately two hours per month. Applicants must live in Weld County.
Apply to be on the Poudre River Trail Corridor Board. The deadline to apply is Friday, Dec. 13, 2024. Applicants will be interviewed by the Weld County Board of Commissioners who will then send a letter of recommendation for one applicant to the Poudre River Trail Board for final approval.
