To showcase the collaboration between the state and local workforce centers, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) has introduced a new, unified brand for Colorado’s Public Workforce System – Workforce Colorado.

The new Workforce Colorado name and look were created to bring clarity and cohesion to the services that help connect Coloradans – and the businesses that employ them – to meaningful opportunities for growth. By uniting all local workforce centers under one consistent identity, CDLE aims to ensure that every Coloradan, no matter where they live, can expect the same high-quality and accessible services. Additionally, CDLE recently modernized Connecting Colorado, bridging the gap between job seekers and employers seeking skilled talent. The updated platform also allows employment navigators to review a job seeker’s prior case notes, ensuring a streamlined process for assisting individuals across county lines.

Colorado’s workforce system includes more than 40 local centers statewide — two of which are in Weld County, located in Greeley and Fort Lupton. These centers offer a wide range of services at no cost to job seekers and employers, including career coaching, job placement, training programs, and assistance with recruitment and hiring.

In alignment with the statewide rebranding efforts, Weld County is introducing its own refreshed identity. Employment Services of Weld County will now operate as the Weld County Workforce Center (WCWC) — a name that clearly represents the county’s role as a central hub for employment, education, and training resources for individuals and businesses alike.

The WCWC offers a variety of services, including:

  • Labor market analysis
  • Work-based learning opportunities, including apprenticeships and internships
  • Employment and training services
  • Workshops, including resume building and interview skills
  • On-site and in-house job fairs

The center is also home to the Weld County Veterans Service Office, which assists veterans and their families with service-connected disability claims, education benefits, burial benefits, and supportive services for dependents and spouses — all in one convenient location.
