The Weld County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacque Troudt as the county’s new Chief Financial Officer. Troudt will begin her role with Weld County on May 11.
Troudt brings more than 20 years of experience in public sector finance and strategic planning. Most recently, she served as Deputy City Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer for the City of Evans, where she oversaw multiple departments and played a key role in guiding citywide financial operations and long-term strategy.
During her time with the City of Evans, Troudt led the development and management of the city’s operating and capital budgets, oversaw treasury and financial operations, and advised executive leadership and City Council on complex financial and organizational decisions. She also supported major capital projects, including a wastewater treatment plant expansion, redevelopment of recreation sites following disaster, and construction of a new police station.
“Jacque’s extensive experience in public finance and her strong leadership background make her an excellent addition to Weld County,” said Weld County Commissioner Chair Scott James. “Her knowledge of local government and commitment to sound financial management will help ensure the county continues to provide responsible, efficient services to our residents.”
A lifelong resident of Weld County, Troudt has built her career on advancing strong financial practices and organizational efficiency. Prior to her work in local government, she held roles in healthcare finance and public accounting, where she developed expertise in financial analysis and auditing.
Troudt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado and is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Finance Officer.
