Heath department to host upcoming webinar series

The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment will host three public webinars highlighting findings from the 2025 Weld Community Health Survey. The upcoming webinars will examine health care access, mental health, and the financial pressures affecting the health and well-being of Weld County residents.

Conducted every three years, the Weld Community Health Survey provides detailed information about residents’ health, experiences, needs, and priorities. Local governments, health care organizations, nonprofit agencies, and other community partners can use the findings to guide programs, services, and policies.

The upcoming webinars include:

Health Care Access

9 to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22
Topics will include health insurance coverage, delayed care, health care use, discrimination in health care settings, and where residents receive regular care.

Mental Health

9 to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25
Topics will include mental health care use, barriers to receiving care, social isolation and loneliness, depression, and anxiety.

Affordability

9 to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29
Topics will include housing cost burdens, food insecurity, and residents’ concerns about affording health insurance and medical care.

All three webinars will be held online through Microsoft Teams. Participants may attend individual sessions or join the entire series to gain a broader understanding of the factors affecting health in Weld County.
