Land disturbance of an area greater than one acre requires a Grading Permit. If located within a state-permitted MS4 area, additional requirements may apply. For more information on MS4, please visit the Weld County MS4 webpage. The Grading Permit Policy in the Weld County Code recognizes the importance of protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public, protection of water quality and private property rights.
