The long-term vision for WCR 54 (Freedom Parkway) involves a series of projects designed to address regional growth and improve safety for the 25-mile stretch of roadway from Larimer County Road 7 to Weld County Road 49. The roundabout at WCR 54 and WCR 17 was completed in 2020, and construction of the roundabout planned for the intersection of WCR 54 and WCR 13 will soon be under construction.
Included in the WCR 54 improvements is an Access Control Plan, which involves the coordinated efforts of multiple municipalities and jurisdictions to manage future development along the corridor.
