Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Region (UFR TPR)

Boundary Map

The Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Region (UFR TPR) represents the unincorporated areas of Larimer and Weld Counties, and all of Morgan County. This rural transportation planning region includes I-76, I-25, US 85, US 34, US 287, and SH 14. The mission of the TPR is to improve safety and provide a multimodal transportation system for the efficient movement of people and goods.

The UFR TPR is a Regional Planning Commission (RPC) created in accordance with §43-1-1103, C.R.S. and is required to develop a long-range (20-year) comprehensive Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). This RTP identifies the Upper Front Range’s priorities and needs so they get incorporated into the Statewide Plan.

The UFR TPR meets quarterly on the first Thursday of the month. Meetings are rotated between locations in Larimer, Weld and Morgan Counties. Weld County staff administers the TPR meetings.
