Transportation Planning

The Transportation Planning Division is responsible for developing the County’s 2045 Transportation Plan, assists in developing the capital improvement project priority list, develop and maintain access control plans, and coordinate with regional agencies regarding transportation. The team works closely with the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Denver Regional Council of Governments, the Colorado Department on Transportation, and the thirty-two municipalities in Weld County to improve transportation in the County.
