Board appoints David Eisenbraun as new planning director

The Weld County Board of Commissioners is excited to announce the appointment of David Eisenbraun as the new Director of Planning Services, effective this month. With a robust background in Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture, Eisenbraun brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role.
Eisenbraun most recently served as a Long Range Planner for the Town of Windsor, where he demonstrated a commitment to innovative planning and community engagement. His extensive experience in the field will be invaluable as he takes the helm at Weld County, where he aims to support individuals and businesses alike.
“With all the growth we are seeing, I believe I will bring the right skill set to this already high-performing team. I am excited to be on board and appreciate the board's time and commitment,” stated Eisenbraun.
As director, Eisenbraun will oversee planning initiatives across Weld County, ensuring that development aligns with the community’s vision and priorities. His leadership will focus on fostering collaboration, improving processes and promoting sustainable growth.
