Employment Services of Weld County offers a wide variety of services that may assist you in getting back to work sooner. Our goal is to provide you with the most up to date career development information, job search services, and referrals to needed community resources.

 


How do I begin My job search?

Employment Services is working hard to assist with in-person services, however due to increased volume and intensity of support required there maybe a wait to receive assistance.

Tips for registering

  • Select preferred method of contact as email, this will allow for automated job matches and hiring events to be emailed directly to you!

  • Job List up to four different job titles in your profile

  • Select all your skills under the job titles as this will more accurately match you with appropriate open positions

  • Upload your resume

What happens after I register with Connecting Colorado?

After registering, Connecting Colorado’s automated system will send jobseekers employment notifications based on the jobseeker’s search criteria through email. Additionally, the system will email jobseekers notifications of job fairs and other employment related events in the area. If a job seeker does not have an email address, the job seeker will need to contact the Employment Services for job referrals, job fairs, or other employment related events, or frequently log into  Connecting Colorado to see job referrals. 

What else should I do?

  • Call and speak with Career Resource Representative to inquire about our many services including; assistance with job searching, applications, resumes, and referrals to community resource and training/education programs.  
  • Sign up for workshops that can further assist in your search for work. Sign up by calling (970) 400-6791 or go directly to your Connecting Colorado home page.
  • Access your account regularly to review newly posted jobs and to update your application regarding address, telephone number, additional job interests, or to extend the active period of your application.
