Oil & Gas Leases - Bids

Weld County owns mineral rights for approximately forty thousand (40,000) acres. On November 19, 1986, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a mineral leasing policy as detailed in Section 2-2-70 of the Weld County Code. For oil and gas leasing questions, or to nominate a parcel for oral auction and lease, please contact the Oil and Gas Leasing Division of the Clerk to the Board’s Office at ctb-oilandgasleasing@weld.gov or 970-400-4212.
